During the meeting, the two discussed two strategic projects of the Jakarta Provincial Government proposed as National Strategic Projects (PSN). Those two projects are the revitalization of Kota Tua and the construction of an international-standard type A hospital on the Sumber Waras land.

Pramono explained that the proposal is to simplify and speed up the development process for the two projects.

"I and the City Hall staff asked for time and met with the Coordinating Minister for the Economy related to two things," Pramono said.

The revitalization and management of Kota Tua will be run by the Jakarta Provincial Government, along with Danantara and the Ministry of Creative Economy. This collaboration is crucial since the majority of assets in the Kota Tua area belong to the central government, particularly state-owned enterprises, which will be coordinated through Danantara.

Meanwhile, the Jakarta Provincial Government will run basic infrastructure development in the Kota Tua area in 2026, including pedestrian areas, roads, and surrounding rivers.

"Regarding the assets owned by Danantara, they will make improvements," he added.

The Governor added that the revitalization of Kota Tua is targeted to begin in 2027. This is in line with the cessation of MRT line construction on the surface and the development will begin to focus on the underground.

"MRT will prepare the TOD in Kota Tua," he continued.

Regarding the hospital project on the Sumber Waras land, Pramono explained that he had obtained permits from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) to begin construction. He also wants the project to be included in the National Strategic Projects (PSN) to streamline the process.

On the 3.6 hectare plot of land, the Jakarta Provincial Government wants to build an international-standard type A hospital and is expected to become the main referral hospital in Jakarta for several specific diseases.

"If it is developed, specifically planned for hospitals related to heart disease, cancer, and special diseases, then I am sure it will become a good hospital and become a reference for Indonesia," he stated.

According to Pramono, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto will study the proposals for the two development projects to ensure they can benefit the community.
